If the campus of Mainland Regional High School appears to be the site of a police action this week, you are correct, in a way.

The Linwood Police will be hosting a three-day seminar at the high school beginning Monday, Dec. 7.

The seminar on proactive supervision will run from 8:30a-3p each day and include 27 officers from various communities.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that an e-mail was sent to parents saying many police cars will be parked on the grassy area behind the gates near Cradle Rock and officers may choose to eat lunch on campus.

"We wanted to share this information with you since we will have police personnel and multiple police vehicles on our campus", according to the e-mail.
