Are Atlantic City's best days behind it? A majority of Garden State residents think so.

A new Rutgers-Eagleton poll released today finds 63 percent of those surveyed think Atlantic City's best days are behind it while only 25 percent say they're still to come. The poll also found that over half of the people surveyed agree with Gov. Christie's decision to appoint an emergency manager for the World's Playground while just as many people really don't know any details about their plans.

The survey also found that only 38 percent of state residents visited Atlantic City within the past 12 months; that's down from 43 percent when the same question was asked last October.
