Oakcrest Names Eric Anderson New Football Coach

The Oakcrest Falcons have a new head football coach tonight, naming Eric Anderson the as the team's successor to Chuck Smith.

Anderson is a longtime assistant coach and a physical education teacher at the school

Smith stepped down in December and had been named the new Mainland coach, clearing the way for Anderson to be named the next head coach.

Anderson takes over a Falcons team that went 5-5 in 2015, but returns quarterback Kendall Elliott, along with wide receivers Yahsyn McKee and Jalen Heard.
