The owners of Manco & Manco Pizza have admitted to evading taxes, structuring cash payments to avoid reporting requirements, and lying to IRS special agents.

In a press release from U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman, 55-year-old Charles Bangle of Somers Point pleaded guilty before a U.S. District Judge in federal court in Camden Thursday to indictments charging him with evading taxes with respect to his 2010 personal tax returns and with structuring financial transactions in 2011 to avoid reporting requirements. 54-year-old Mary Bangle, 54, also of Somers Point, pleaded guilty to a count of the same indictment, which charges her with knowingly making materially false statements to IRS special agents.

Charles and Mary Bangle were both arrested on April 4, 2014, by IRS-Criminal Investigation special agents on an indictment charging the couple with multiple counts of tax evasion and other offenses. The two pleaded not guilty two weeks later.
