Man Stabbed in Neck Following Altercation at EHT Motel

A dispute at a motel in Egg Harbor Township over the weekend resulted in a man being stabbed in the neck.

Around 2:30 Saturday afternoon, Egg Harbor Township Police Department responded to the Rex Motel on Tilton Road in reference to a stabbing. Officers found 40-year-old Rene Morales with a stab wound to the left side of his neck as the result of some type of dispute. Arrested at the scene was Florencio Ramirez-Martinez of Egg Harbor Township (pictured), who is now facing several charges. The incident remains under investigation.
