If flooding is a big concern, you are invited to attend a flood risk open house being held this Thursday, February 5th, in Ventnor.

Atlantic County will be holding a public flood risk open house at the Ventnor Education Community Complex cafeteria on North Lafayette Avenue in Ventnor this Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00. No appointment is needed.

Using interactive flood hazard maps, representatives from FEMA, the state, and county will be available to explain preliminary flood hazard maps and answer flood risk and insurance questions. Residents can bring their elevation certificates and flood insurance policies to get the best information about how their flood insurance may change as a result of the new preliminary flood maps.
