DWI Crash in Galloway Injures Two

Two people were injured in a head-on crash on Pitney Road in Galloway this morning; one person was charged with DWI.

According to a press release from Galloway Township Police, Harriet Evans of Galloway was driving north on Pitney Road just before 7:00 this morning. Evans' vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the roadway before coming back into the south bound lane, then struck a vehicle head-on that was traveling southbound.

Both drivers were injured in the crash and taken to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center – City Campus for non life threatening injuries.

Evans was issued summons for DWI, open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, CDS in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
