Drone video of Cape May house that slid into ocean (WATCH)

Drone video shows a house sitting in the Grassy Sound in Middle Township two days after heavy rain and wind flooded the area and knocked it into the ocean.

It's not clear who will have to clean up the house. The home been owned by Stuart Tait since 1992 and the responsibility may fall to the U.S. Coast Guard or the New Jersey Dept. of Environmental Protection Cape May County Office of Emergency Management told NJ.com.

A post on the Grassy Sound Marina Facebook page said the structure is an "abandoned, derelict building" with a deck that collapsed during Superstorm Sandy. "Not IF but WHEN this house was going to collapse was a major concern and worry of ours for many years," reads the post.

Matt Ulmer, who takes aerial shots for the city of Wildwood, took video of the house in the Bay using his drone on Monday, the first time it was safe to get it up in the air.

"I tried flying it the day of in Ocean City and I thought there'd be $6,000 out the window. There was nothing I could do. I couldn't control it," said Ulmer of an earlier attempt.
