Based upon filings with the state, the total gaming win from casino hotels in Atlantic City open for the entire month of August and internet gaming operations was $289.9 million in August, 2014, compared to the $263.6 million in casino win for August, 2013, reflecting a 10% increase.

Current Operators reported casino win of $279.4 million in August, 2014, reflecting a 6.0% increase compared to August, 2013. Six casino hotels reported an increase in casino win between 2.3% and 46.3% for August, 2014.

The Internet gaming win was $10.5 million in August, consisting of $2.2 million in Peer-to-Peer win and $8.3 million in Other Authorized Games. As of August31, 2014, 431,617 Internet gaming accounts have been created, that's an increase of 6.5% from the previous month.

The big winners in town continue to be Borgata, Caesars, Harrah's, and Tropicana -- all four properties brought in over $30 million last month; Borgata continues to dominate the landscape with almost $66 million in winnings. Revel, which is now closed, and Trump Plaza, which is closing next week, both brought in under $12 million in August.
