Crews are working fast and furious on the beach in Atlantic City as tens of thousands of people will soon be singing along to Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum! Here's a sneak peek at the stage...

After touring the concert area this morning, the biggest thing to keep in mind is that it is taking up an enormous amount of beach -- the concert area stretches from The Pier Shops at Caesars all the way up to Kentucky Avenue; that's about a four block area. In that four-block area there will be over 60,000 people in various zones. If you are in the back of the concert area, you might find yourself a couple blocks away from the stage (crews were working on setting up what appeared to be big stands for large TV monitors).

The huge stage (think of something that's the same size as the stage Kenny Chesney had in Wildwood) is on the north side of The Pier Shops -- Blake and Lady A will be looking north towards Trump Taj Mahal and the crowd will be facing south, looking towards Ventnor and Margate.

Crews were working on setting up half-a-dozen ATM machines, so you'll have access to cash (or you can obviously visit an ATM inside one of the casinos) and there are hundreds of portable bathrooms being set-up on the beach.

Officials with the city and the concert have said that, unlike the Kenny Chesney show in Wildwood, you really won't be able to see much of the concert from the boardwalk. Casually walking the boardwalk this morning, I would have to agree with that. Between the tall dunes, the big walkways over the dunes, the lifeguard shacks, Bally's Beach Bar, and tents that are being set-up on the beach, I couldn't really see any big areas on the boardwalk that you would be able to watch the show from.

Please check out the video I shot this morning to get an idea of where everything will be for Blake Shelton and Lady Antebellum...

To clarify what I say in the video about knowing what zone you are in:  the fan zone and zones 1 and 2 are reserved while zones 3 through 12 are general admission (if you have general admission tickets, you'll be in zones 3-12). As the first people enter the concert area, they'll be able to go all the way up to zone 3.  When that's full, zone 4 will be the closest you can get, then zone 5, etc.  If you have general admission tickets, you are not assigned to a particular zone.
