It's hard to believe that it's been almost a month since we had that big blizzard move through and the famous mountain of snow at Hamilton Mall is fading fast.

A foot of snow fell on a good part of our area back on January 23rd and as we dug ourselves out, we decided to take a poll: how long would the largest pile of snow at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing last? Using "Price is Right" rules (closest to the date without going over or past it), our options were every Friday in February, sometime in March, and sometime in April. If you chose February 5th, 12th, or 19th... sorry!

The mountain of snow between Macy's and Longhorn Steakhouse looked like this right after the storm:

...at the time, it was over seven parking spots wide and more than two parking spots across and you couldn't see the mall entrance behind it. As of this morning (February 19th), well, take a look...

...so, for those of you who picked February 26th as the day-of-demise for the most famous pile of snow in South Jersey, your choice is looking pretty good. Our weather guy, Dan Zarrow, says we'll be in the 50s this weekend with a lot of rain possible early next week. We shall see!

In the mean time, feel free to vote as to when you think the snow pile will disappear.
