Absecon Woman Killed in Morning Car Crash

A 50-year-old Absecon woman was killed this morning when her car crossed over the center line and struck a truck head on.

Galloway Police say Constance M. Polistina, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, that occurred about 7:45 this morning on Pitney Road at Upland Avenue.

Police say the driver of the truck, Anthony D. Pryor, 55, of Elizabeth, sustained minor injuries, and was treated and released.

The road was closed for three hours after the accident, which remains under investigation.
