Egg Harbor Township officers are investigating a Wednesday evening gas station robbery where a 79-year-old man was stabbed twice.

Around 7:30 Wednesday evening, officers responded to the Sunoco station at the corner of Fire and Delilah Roads in the township for reports of a robbery. Officers made contact with 79-year-old Gurmeet Singn of Pleasantville, who works at the gas station. Singn said two men approached him as he was leaving, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The suspects hit the victim in the face and he was stabbed twice in the lower torso area.

The suspects are described as black males wearing all black clothing and black masks and were scene leaving the area on foot westbound on Delilah Road. Singn was taken to Shore Medical Center and treated for his injuries.
